❖ To identify hazardous task and process as well as hazardous zones in the worker place with suitable demarcation of such zones, to keep in redlines firefighting squads; ❖ To formulate and select suitable remedial and corrective measure in order to contain or minimize unsafe procedure and practice and hazards of various and hazards of various nature; ❖ To inspect firefighting equipment’s and to see that they are in working condition; ❖ Medical support and first aid help for the personal during shutdown job; ❖ To report regularly perform as well as accident trends; ❖ To arrange mock firefighting drills from time to time in addition to fire protection surveys; ❖ Welding inspection of tools and equipment used in welding process check for adequate ventilation or exhaust fans for extraction of fumes; ❖ To update review and enforce the fire detection and fire control system in addition training and educational programs on fire prevention and fighting, checking the PPE’s such as safety shoes, safety helmet, goggles, hand gloves, safety harness, conduct toolbox meeting, pre commissioning and commissioning activities; ❖ To ensure the personal protective equipment’s are in working condition and being used by workers in hazardous situations; ❖ Enforce the control measures and censure those who fail to comply, ensure proper disposal of waste materials;

❖ To coordinate implementation of the company HSE policies; ❖ Accept assignments within the safety departments and perform specific duties as may be required; ❖ Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of the safety program assigned; ❖ Ensure that those under their supervision have received training appropriate to their needs and that safety considerations are integrated into this training, document the training given to individuals; ❖ Ensure that the work environment and equipment are safe and well maintained, identify and correct hazardous conditions; ❖ To promptly inculcate the spirit of safety among workers by launching safety campaigns in the form of observing safety weeks and through other audio-visual aids including arranging contents, talks and seminars on safety, to organize safety promotional activities; ❖ Confined space check entry permit before one enters confined space for adequate light and ventilation; ❖ Attending safety meetings and evaluate the safety aspects of proposed operational activities and record concerns.
