▪ Review and approval of quality control plan (QCP) /quality control form (QCF) Procedures. ▪ Provides Electrical pre-commissioning/commissioning expertise, for planning, execution and leadership driving contractor to deliver in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule. ▪ Maintains close liaison with members of Engineering, quality, construction and operations Teams to deliver clear plans and efficient execution of the Electrical scope of work. ▪ Attending construction Final Inspection, mechanical completion walk-through, safety walk-down and issue punch lists as per procedure and close the punches once the job is done. ▪ Ensuring that electrical equipment is delivered, installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with the project requirements.(Bahrain Modernization Program Specifications-BMPS) ▪ Ensure construction schedule from area construction to system/sub system completion and ensure that discipline handover documentation /Dossier are complete as per project requirements. ▪ Witnessing all FAT,SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning activities in the substation and field as per Quality Control Form, Standards, and vendor procedure ▪ Ensuring all electrical discipline project deliverables are executed and handover according to project QHSE requirements. ▪ Suggesting improvements in design review/Approval of engineering documents and drawings, ECC and CCC packages, as-built documents etc. Review and follow-up on Punch Lists, TQ’s, NCRs & Observation Notes ▪ Manages Contractor's Electrical pre-commissioning/commissioning activities including validation of resources, personnel qualifications and experience; usage of appropriate tools; adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, and verification processes. ▪ Witness Testing & Commissioning of Emergency Diesel Generator, MV and LV Power Transformers. ▪ Witnessing of 33KV, 11KV, 6.6KV, 400V Switchgear Substation, AC & DC UPS Commissioning. ▪ Witnessing MicomP543, REF615, REM615, RET620, RED615, REB611, MM300 and MM6 Relay Tests. ▪ Witnessing Restricted Earth Fault (REF), Line differential Stability and Sensitivity Test of Transformer, Emergency Generator & Cables, also checks Signals, Interlock & Inter trip Schemes. ▪ Close co-ordination with EMCS, ICSS, RTU, ESD, FGS, DCS, CCTV instrumentation and automation department for control and monitoring of electrical systems from DCS as per interface points. ▪ Review and approval of energization packages, effective implementation of Lock out and tagout (LOTO) procedures and permit to work system (PTW). ▪ Review the submitted LOTO Procedure for completeness and accuracy. ▪ Verify that the scope of work is clearly defined, described on the LOTO Procedure, and that the LOTO Safe Zone established in the LOTO Procedure fully encompasses the scope of work; and Approve the LOTO Procedure if it meets all requirements in ES&H ▪ Verify that the LOTO Procedure is adequate, understood, and being followed by persons participating in the LOTO; and Document the completion of the LOTO Procedure inspection by completing a LOTO inspection report or entering the evaluation in the EHS LOTO database. ▪ Manage Pre-Energization Safety Review (PESR), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) walkthrough and punch list closures according to scope and project specifications. ▪ Implementation of industrial and project safety procedures for safe and smooth start up ▪ Co-ordination with different disciplines for safe smooth start up. ▪ Effectively monitoring and recording the performance of complete electrical system during start up and operation. ▪ Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment’s to prepare the equipment for the first start up. ▪ Effectively undertaking trouble shooting and restoration in case of any snag during startup ▪ Managing the commissioning of other systems like grounding, lighting, cathodic protection system, MOV’S and, Heat tracing system ▪ Review and verify test reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondence. ▪ Responsible to ensure that the contractors have all required drawings up to date and including redlines/as-builts.

▪ Plans, coordinates with the testing and commissioning team and contractor/vendor of all testing & commissioning activities to ensure safe commissioning of the substation and substation equipment’s. ▪ Review/Approval of Test Procedures ▪ Ensure compliance with Project Technical Specifications, International Standards, and OEM procedures and specifications. ▪ Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment’s to prepare the equipment for the first start up. ▪ Verification of the compliance of test results with the design and reliability requirements ▪ Review of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondence ▪ Suggesting improvements in design review/Approval of engineering documents and drawings, ECC and CCC packages, as-built documents etc. Preparation and follow-up on Punch Lists, NCRs & Observation Notes ▪ Coordination with contractor to resolve issues.

▪ Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire technical Consultants for development of new IPP & RE Power projects in Saudi Arabia ▪ Prepare all technical documentation like RFP and PPA etc. required for tender packages. ▪ Participate in Technical Evaluation of bids to verify feasibility & correctness of bidders’ technical proposals. ▪ Prepare technical criteria for pre-qualification for each IPP. ▪ Recommend the technical qualification of potential IPP bidders (Company technical qualification as part of the tendering process for each IPP). ▪ Provide technical Services to support the process of tender specifications and technical bid evaluation. ▪ Prepare technical specifications of IPPs Projects. ▪ Conduct troubleshooting analysis for the sector departments. ▪ Incorporation into long-term generation forecasting/planning. ▪ Participate in feasibility studies for IPP projects. ▪ Provide technical support to sector departments. ▪ Study the proposal presented to the sector. ▪ Worked as a Project Management Consultant (PMC)

▪ The power station consists of six identical groups of equipment provided by Siemens, each with a net output of 654.5 MW. Each block has a 2+2+1 configuration consisting of two SGT6-5000F Combustion Turbines, two Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and one SST6-4000 Steam Turbine.
