• Implementation of HSE assurance program and to achieve 100% HSE all time. • Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and Design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. • Conducting monthly / weekly meetings with contractor, subcontractors, client to Analise progress and HSE statistics updates. • Participating in leaders site visit to verify HSE compliance on site based for contractors’ commitments and client &legal authority requirements. • Review accidents and incidents to determine cause and implemented plans to prevent Reoccurrence to avoid any Legal, Moral Economical loss. • Investigate individual violations resulting from Incidents, observations, spot checks, site visits, road safety violations etc. and recommend consequences based on the severity within time frame. • Prepare Safety Alerts/Lessons Learned for all the significant incidents. • Review projects Safety/HSE target schedules to ensure that they are being achieved effectively in accordance with Corporate, Company and Project requirements • Conduct dedicated Work management system audits for respective operations’ activities and contractor safety management system covered by WMS procedure as per approved targets. • Develop / update registers of HSE critical activities / positions and define competency requirements subject to periodic assessments as applicable. • Familiar with Dubai Municipality/ Abu Dhabi code of constructions and local regulations to facility and staff compliance; interpreting regulatory requirements and developing compliance-based on practices and guidelines. • Fulfill EHS responsibilities as identified in the Responsibilities and Accountabilities section of the Health & Safety Program. • Preparing Risk assessment, COSHH Assessment and comply. • Provide training and development to co-workers and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices and Job Safe Practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge to others. • Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals • Develop emergency response plan and Conduct Emergency Preparedness drills and exercises as per plan to identify areas for improvement from each drill/exercise and develop action plans. • Provide advice and support to high-risk activities like confined spaces, working at height, work on live equipment, hot work in hazardous area, critical lifting, etc. & maintaining all relevant records • Review Develop and update health and safety plans and procedures. • Check all Permit to work requirements and ensure proper implementation for all required site and ensuring strict adherence to client work permit procedures. • Conducted hazard assessments and ensured appropriate control measures and safe work Requirements. • Contribute to HSE related committees and representation for the respective area, and participate in the investigation and studies to ensure consistency and presence of the function. • Regular contacts with concerned Section Head, Senior HSE Engineer, Project Manager, Managers for obtaining approval and coordinating matters related to various projects. • Prepare progress report and monthly safety planning schedule for the site activities as per IMS, OSHA &Company internal HSE rules. • Recommended corrective actions and measures to improve safety conditions to avoid any unwanted event or loss. • Personnel inspection and reporting the company management on unusual and serious accidents, with evaluation and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
