I’ve got over seven years of experience in maintaining locomotives and am currently the manager of the rolling stock depot at the national railway company in Tunisia. I’m looking for new opportunities with more contemporary technologies and new challenges.

• Plan and manage resources to provide effective depot workshop management services, rolling stock maintenance and technical support services for the SNCFT Gafsa department. • Supervise and oversee the subordinate managers to carry out the maintenance activities within the corresponding sections covering rolling stock which includes locomotives freight wagons, stores and procurement, deport equipment which includes machine tools wheel lathe/ presses/ bores, lifting jacks/ cranes. • Provide training, support and guidance on depot equipment maintenance and the rolling stock maintenance within the maintenance staff. • Carry out 24-hour on-call responsibility for incidents and emergency within its section. • Assist the Engineering and Maintenance Director in providing strategic direction, planning, and managing the development and implementation of policy and procedures for improving fleet reliability, availability and maintainability. • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the Engineering and Maintenance Director. Achievements: Member of the committee of the company’s energy audit on rolling stock Dec 2023. Member of the committee of preparing and evaluating a tender for wagon spare parts June 2024.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and establish priorities in maintenance schedules. • Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the department budget. • Manage maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities. • Provide training and continuous development on all maintenance personnel. Achievements: Member of the committee of the reception and testing of 20 new locomotives GT42AC Oct 2019. Member of the warranty committee of the new 20 locomotive GT42AC
• Perform structural steel welding inspection in accordance with ASME standards. • Prepare daily reports including description of contractor work activities, labor and equipment identification and quantity • Review the welding procedure specification and inspection requirements prior to welding. • Inspect pressure vessels to determine conformance with safety laws and regulations. • Inspect materials and evaluate design, fabrication, installation, and operation. • Perform tests to verify condition of equipment. • Test meters and gauges.
