PROJECT : Boat stacking building,Mess Hall,Golf Place. CLIENT : AD PORTS GROUP,DRY DOCKS,TROJAN GROUPS. PLACE : Sadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. •Monitoring Welding activities, NDT, Mechanical activities, Material Inspection, and related documentation. •Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification. •Witnessing WQT, PQT, NDT, RT film interpretation as per ASME section IX and ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc. •Checking welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant qualified PQR for the particular projects. •Establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems to enhance quality of Weldments and reduce rejection level. •Analyzing quality problems and submitting reports for correcting the process. •Conversant with Quality Assurance techniques NDE (UT, RT, MT & PT). •Attending to all customer complaints & giving corrective feedback. •Verification of PWHT Process reports in respect to procedures and specifications. •Maintaining calibration certificates for Instruments. •Review and verification of Material certificates and Cutting Plans before Fabrication. •Verification of Dimension before and after Welding as per special requirements. •Signing off Fit-Up and Visual reports after Inspection acceptance. •Review of Radiography Films and NDE Test reports. •Preparation and submission of final document clearance. QUALITY CONTROL ACTIVITIES •Identification of material and stamp transfer. •Monitoring Weld joint preparation and inspection of Fit-up and Tack Welds. •Monitoring of Pre Heat treatment before Welding. •During welding, check proper parameters as per WPS and Procedures. •Monitor PWHT in special requirements. •Co-ordinate dimension checks before and after Welding as per special requirements. •Witness WPS consequent PQRs in requirements and witness Welder Qualification and Performance Tests. •Arrange NDT as per procedures and standards. •Originating NCRs and closing Client NCRs. •Coordinating with client at various stages of fabrication and Erection activities and getting approval. •Review Inspection Test Plan, Quality Control Procedure, method statements and drawings.
