Duties and responsibilities: ➢ Effective involvement in departmental activities like lesson plans, time-tables, examination work, NBA, NAAC etc. ➢ Effectively teach and facilitate learning on a range of subjects within the subject area as per the industrial requirements, including supervision of projects and seminars. ➢ Participate in the continuing review and development of subject delivery, incorporating innovative study modes, learning environments and pedagogic practices. ➢ Develop and update course materials, including syllabus, assignments, and assessments, ensuring alignment with current industry practices and standards. ➢ Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and lab- based instruction. ➢ Act as a personal tutor, supporting and mentoring the students as appropriate. ➢ Provide pastoral care to students, referring when necessary to services that provide further support. ➢ Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as needed. ➢ Civil Engineer:Good knowledge in basics of civil and theory of steel structures. ➢ Auto CAD Drafting: Good knowledge in creating 2D drawings. ➢ Design and analysis of structures using Etabs. ➢ Document control: Store, manage and track records and documents. ➢ Teaching:Discipline,Educate, Instruct and Training of students. Career oriented ➢ Contribute to the growth and success of the civil engineering department and the broader academic community. ➢ Assist in the recruitment and retention of students in the civil engineering program. ➢ Provide academic advising to undergraduate and graduate students, assisting with course selection, career guidance, and professional development.
