DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline and IT operations practices, scaling, and metrics, as well as running day-to- day operations from development to production.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines through through Azure Repo and/or Git Repo ensuring development and deployment integration
• Management of cloud resources like Azure DB, AKS, Virtual servers, App Load Balancer etc.
• Quality control with automated testing and security governance.
• Integration with external CDN and DNS servers
• Collaborate with Application team understanding the application needs, suggesting the best practices and getting these implemented
• Support continuous improvement efforts by participating in post-incident reviews and implementing recommended changes to prevent recurrence.
• Understanding of Microservice concepts, troubleshooting issues. fixing/remediating the defects
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, incident response protocols, and operational best practices.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components such as networking, load balancer, AD etc
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps tools & technologies.
• Experience in migration such as application, systems & cloud (Azure, AWS..etc).
• Experience in configuration management and automation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficient with git and git workflows.
• Good knowledge of Python
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
