IT Application Support Specialist
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users of various software applications. Application Support Senior Specialist is responsible for responding to user inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all software applications are functioning properly.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve software application issues, including system errors and bugs.
Support the software development teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Document and track user inquiries and resolutions in a ticketing system.
Support with Conducting software testing and quality assurance to ensure optimal functionality.
Provide training and support to end users on how to effectively use software applications.
Update and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for software applications.
Assist in the implementation of new software applications and systems.
Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in application support.
Perform any application related management tasks or provide application related information.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience.
