Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communicate succinctly, clearly and accurately in plain simple English and/or Arabic, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to establish a rapport with donors and general public
  • Be an effective team member who is able to relate to colleagues at all levels across our large multi-site organisation with tact and diplomacy
  • Motivate others, promoting a clear sense of purpose and a positive attitude to work with individuals and teams
  • Follow given instructions and ensure the services you provide are in line with standard processes and good practice, showing attention to detail.
  • Organize and prioritize own workload and where required workload of others, taking responsibility for delivering results within agreed timescales and standards within an environment of changing priorities and pressures
  • Use initiative to look out for issues at work, acting quickly and calmly to focus on finding a solution
  • Must be goal oriented, able to establish and maintain on-going relationships and commitment
  • Require creativity and an open mind to help formulate new recruitment ideas and ways to implement them
  • Oversee the design and implementation of donor recruitment education and activities in consultation with Abu Dhabi Department of Health,
  • Health Care Services, G42 Marketing BU, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Research, develop and maintain materials for education and donor recruitment activities including Training Plans, Provider Welcome Packs, and Provider Manuals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of each education and donor recruitment activity/session conducted.
  • Maintain comprehensive education and donor recruitment registration and attendance records Serve as the subject matter expert within the internal learning team on issues related to the contract and the donor recruitment population
  • Identify areas of improvement within the education and donor recruitment content to reduce provider confusion or errors.
  • Provide the logistical support, scheduling, administration, coordination, event planning functions, equipment, materials, supplies and technology necessary to address training needs
  • Be flexible to work variable hours, be “on call” as needed, and work some weekends
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential new donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, in order to expand the donor base.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and other stakeholders on donor recruitment and external relations activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of the organization’s marketing and communications strategy, including contributing to the creation of messaging and content for campaigns and donor outreach efforts.
  • Represent the organization at external events and meetings, including conferences, workshops, and community outreach activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to donor recruitment and external relations, and use this knowledge to inform and improve the organization’s strategies and activities.
  • Manage and oversee the work of junior staff members, including providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback on their work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s, Master’s OR 5 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Ability to convert abstract ideas into concrete solutions, and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers in both
  • English and Arabic verbally and in written form
  • Strong technical (computer systems) skills and understanding of computing concepts (file structure, saving versions of files, tracking changes, advanced MS Office features).
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional communication skills including presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience delivering classes face-to-face as well as remotely with the ability to engage the audience and have a high energy level.
  • Ability to establish credibility with provider community and collaborate and partner with leaders.
  • Experience with Web-based Training and with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to liaise with medical, biomedical and scientific stakeholders.
  • Extrovert, able to form long-term external relationships and trust with donors and general public, clinical staff and other teams
