Job Description

The Airport Systems IT Support Lead is responsible for leading technical support operations for critical airport IT systems and applications. The role ensures high availability, reliability, and timely resolution of incidents affecting airport operations and passenger services. The position coordinates with IT teams, airport operations, vendors, and technology partners to maintain service continuity. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, incident management, system monitoring, and continuous improvement across airport technology environments.

 

Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day IT support for airport operational systems, applications, and technology platforms.
Monitor system availability and coordinate rapid resolution of technical incidents.
Manage escalated Level 2 and Level 3 support issues and ensure appropriate root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with airport operations teams during critical system outages and service disruptions.
Supervise IT support engineers and allocate resources according to operational priorities.
Maintain incident, problem, change, and service-request management processes.
Coordinate with technology vendors and third-party service providers for technical support.
Ensure IT systems comply with airport technology standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.
Develop preventive maintenance and system health-check schedules.
Prepare service reports, incident statistics, and performance dashboards for management.
Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency response exercises.
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, support processes, and user experience.
