BMS Technician & Field Programmer

Job Description

The BMS Technician & Field Programmer is responsible for installing, configuring, programming, testing, and maintaining Building Management System components.
The role involves working with field controllers, sensors, actuators, communication networks, and BMS software platforms.
The technician works closely with engineers and project teams to ensure HVAC and building-control systems operate correctly.
The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform programming and commissioning activities at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
Install and configure BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
Perform field programming and configuration of BMS controllers.
Develop and modify control logic according to approved sequences of operation.
Configure communication protocols and networks used by BMS equipment.
Test HVAC monitoring and control points for proper operation.
Troubleshoot communication, programming, sensor, and controller-related faults.
Carry out point-to-point testing and functional performance testing.
Assist engineers with BMS commissioning and system integration.
Update software configurations and maintain programming backups.
Prepare testing records, commissioning documentation, and system reports.
Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and ELV teams to resolve interface issues.
