Data Analyst

Job Description

The Data Analyst at Fluxys Belgium supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business and operational data. The position works with large and diverse datasets to identify trends, performance indicators, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. The analyst collaborates with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful analytical outputs. The role also helps improve data quality, reporting processes, and the accessibility of reliable information across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, consolidate, clean, and analyze data from multiple business and operational sources.
Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support business decisions.
Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis.
Work with stakeholders to define business intelligence and reporting requirements.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality.
Develop and maintain SQL queries and data extraction processes.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular performance reports.
Support data governance and contribute to improved data management practices.
Automate recurring reporting and analytical activities where appropriate.
