QA Engineer

Job Description

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software products and digital services meet defined functional, performance, usability, and quality standards. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle. The engineer works closely with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects. The position also contributes to test automation and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
Perform manual and automated testing across applications and platforms.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
Conduct API, database, compatibility, and usability testing where required.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile development activities.
Improve testing processes, tools, documentation, and quality standards.
Support release validation and production quality monitoring.
