Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description

The Cloud Solutions Architect will design secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud architectures for transportation technology solutions.
The role will translate business and technical requirements into cloud-based architectures and implementation strategies.
The architect will work closely with software, DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and product teams.
The position requires strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, networking, security, and architectural design.

Key Responsibilities
Design cloud architectures supporting enterprise and intelligent transportation applications.
Develop technical architecture documents, diagrams, standards, and implementation guidelines.
Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services based on business and technical requirements.
Design scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Establish cloud security, identity, networking, and access-management architectures.
Work with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure-as-code and automation.
Support cloud migration, modernization, and application transformation initiatives.
Review cloud environments for performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
Provide technical guidance to software and infrastructure engineering teams.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
