Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and digital solutions. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable software. The position may cover application development, integration, APIs, automation, and modernization of existing systems. The engineer contributes to Atos Nederland’s technology-driven projects while following coding, security, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services.
Translate functional and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and external systems.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement.
Follow secure coding practices and organizational development standards.
Maintain technical documentation and development procedures.
