IT Project Manager

Job Description

The IT Project Manager leads technology projects from initiation and planning through implementation and closure. The role coordinates internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure projects meet agreed objectives. The position manages project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies. The IT Project Manager also ensures effective communication and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects according to approved objectives and timelines.
Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, and dependencies.
Coordinate project teams across IT, business, vendors, and external partners.
Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, issues, and overall performance.
Maintain project plans, documentation, status reports, and governance records.
Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
Organize project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and priorities.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance requirements.
Support project closure, lessons learned, and transition into operational support.
