Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Description
The Cybersecurity Analyst protects enterprise systems, networks, applications, and information from cyber threats and security incidents. The role monitors security events, investigates suspicious activities, and supports incident response processes. The analyst helps identify vulnerabilities and recommends appropriate security controls and remediation measures. The position works with IT and business teams to strengthen security posture and maintain compliance with organizational security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across enterprise environments.
Investigate suspected security incidents and potential cyber threats.
Support incident response, containment, investigation, and recovery activities.
Analyze vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
Maintain and monitor security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
Perform security assessments and contribute to risk analysis.
Support implementation of cybersecurity policies, controls, and procedures.
Investigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other security events.
Prepare security reports and incident documentation.
Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity best practices.
