QA Engineer

Job Description

The QA Engineer will ensure that software applications and technology solutions meet defined functional, performance, reliability, and quality requirements.
The role involves designing test strategies, preparing test cases, executing tests, and identifying defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
The engineer will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other QA professionals to improve software quality and release confidence.
The position requires strong testing knowledge, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and familiarity with test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on project requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks where applicable.
Execute API, database, and application-level testing as required.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve defects.
Validate software against functional, technical, security, and performance requirements.
Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality-focused feedback.
Maintain test documentation, test results, defect reports, and quality metrics.
Support continuous improvement of QA processes, testing tools, and automation practices.
