IT Project Manager

Job Description

The IT Project Manager will lead technology projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
The role requires coordination between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
The manager will be responsible for managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and project quality.
The position will support Telenor’s digital and technology transformation initiatives while ensuring projects meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Coordinate internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure delivery according to agreed timelines.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
Track project costs and ensure effective utilization of allocated resources.
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality, security, and compliance requirements.
Prepare project reports and communicate progress, challenges, and corrective actions to management.
