Job Description

The Geologist evaluates geological formations and subsurface conditions to support oil and gas exploration and development.
The role involves interpreting geological, well, seismic, and petrophysical information to identify hydrocarbon-bearing formations.
The geologist works closely with reservoir engineers, geophysicists, and drilling teams during field development activities.
The position contributes to geological modeling, well planning, reserves evaluation, and subsurface decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret geological, well-log, core, and seismic data.
Develop and maintain geological models of reservoirs.
Identify and evaluate potential hydrocarbon-bearing formations.
Support well correlation and formation evaluation activities.
Provide geological input for exploration and development well planning.
Participate in well-site geological operations and formation interpretation.
Integrate geological information with reservoir and production data.
Evaluate structural, stratigraphic, and depositional characteristics.
Support reserves and resource assessment studies.
Prepare geological reports, maps, interpretations, and technical presentations.
