ELV Project Engineer
Job Description
The ELV Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and commissioning Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems for commercial, industrial, and building projects.
The role involves managing technical implementation from design review through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
The engineer coordinates with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
The position requires strong knowledge of ELV technologies, project documentation, site supervision, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate the installation and implementation of ELV systems according to project requirements.
Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, schematics, and technical documentation.
Supervise ELV installation activities and ensure work follows approved designs and specifications.
Coordinate systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, intercom, and related ELV solutions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters.
Monitor project progress, installation quality, manpower requirements, and material availability.
Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and functional verification of ELV systems.
Identify site issues, technical deviations, and installation problems and coordinate corrective actions.
Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, test reports, and other project documentation.
