Job Description

The Software QA Testing Associate will support quality assurance activities throughout the software development and release lifecycle.
The role involves preparing test scenarios, executing functional tests, identifying defects, and verifying fixes across applications.
The associate will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure software meets defined requirements.
The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and an understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Review business and technical requirements to understand application functionality.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and testing checklists.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing as required.
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
Re-test resolved defects and verify that fixes meet expected requirements.
Perform exploratory testing to identify potential usability and functionality issues.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects.
Maintain accurate test execution reports and testing documentation.
Participate in sprint planning, review, and release activities within Agile projects.
Support continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and quality practices.
