IT Systems Reliability & Infrastructure Lead
Job Description
The IT Systems Reliability & Infrastructure Lead is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, resilience, and security of critical IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
The role oversees infrastructure operations across servers, networks, storage, cloud platforms, databases, and related technology services.
The lead will establish reliability practices, monitor system performance, and coordinate incident and problem management activities.
The position works with IT teams and business stakeholders to maintain highly available systems that support continuous petrochemical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operation and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure and critical systems.
Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, performance, and system health.
Develop and implement reliability, availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
Manage major incidents, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
Establish infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance-management standards.
Coordinate patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and infrastructure maintenance.
Ensure appropriate backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
Work with cybersecurity teams to implement infrastructure security controls and standards.
Lead infrastructure improvement projects and technology modernization initiatives.
Manage technical vendors, service providers, and infrastructure support partners.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and service-level metrics.
