Job Description

The Fiber Optic & Telecom Lead Technician oversees the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and telecommunication systems across industrial projects. The role ensures reliable communication networks supporting operational technologies and business communications. The technician supervises field teams, coordinates project activities, and ensures compliance with engineering standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead installation and termination of fiber optic cables.
Supervise telecom technicians during project execution.
Test fiber links using OTDR and optical power meters.
Troubleshoot communication network failures.
Install telecom racks, patch panels, and communication equipment.
Prepare installation reports and testing documentation.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers.
