Job Description
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect (Azure/AWS) is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop cloud strategies that align with organizational objectives. The architect ensures cloud solutions follow industry best practices for security, governance, cost optimization, and performance. This position also supports cloud migration initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and continuous infrastructure improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure and AWS services.
Develop cloud architecture frameworks, governance policies, and security standards.
Plan and execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises environments.
Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage infrastructure costs.
Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams on cloud deployments.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cloud engineering teams.
