Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

GNA Axles Limited is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to ensure manufactured automotive components comply with quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain documentation. Attention to detail and knowledge of quality systems are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
Perform dimensional inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment where applicable.
Verify compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Record inspection findings and maintain quality documentation.
Report non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis.
Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Ensure adherence to ISO/IATF quality management standards.
Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality.
Conduct process audits and quality checks on the shop floor.
Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments.
