Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

Job Description

Cyient is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++) to develop high-performance embedded applications for industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, healthcare, and communications. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and optimizing firmware and embedded software solutions for real-time systems. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and validation teams to deliver reliable and scalable products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C/C++, embedded Linux or RTOS, debugging tools, and software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C and C++.
Develop firmware for microcontrollers, processors, and embedded devices.
Work with RTOS, embedded Linux, and device drivers.
Debug software issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Optimize code performance, memory utilization, and system reliability.
Collaborate with hardware engineers for board bring-up and integration.
Perform unit testing, code reviews, and software documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry coding standards and quality processes.
