Project Controls Manager
Job Description
The Project Controls Manager oversees project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, and reporting for major EPC projects. The role ensures effective project performance by monitoring budgets, forecasting costs, managing risks, and supporting decision-making processes. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, the Project Controls Manager drives project efficiency while ensuring contractual compliance. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are critical for success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement project control procedures and reporting systems.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost forecasts.
Review project schedules and identify potential delays.
Lead progress measurement and earned value analysis activities.
Coordinate risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics.
Support contract administration and change management processes.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Ensure compliance with project control standards and client requirements.
Mentor and supervise project control engineers and planners.
