Network Engineer

Job Description

As a Network Engineer at stc, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise telecommunications and IP network infrastructure. The role ensures high network availability, optimal performance, and secure connectivity across data centers, cloud environments, and customer services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network expansion projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement emerging technologies. This position requires strong technical expertise in routing, switching, network security, and telecommunications standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN networks.
Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Implement network security best practices and access controls.
Support network expansion, migration, and upgrade projects.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud teams to optimize infrastructure.
