Job Description

Position: Lead Planning Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience: Minimum 15 years in Industrial Buildings, Developments etc., Must have UAE Consultancy Experience

Location: Dubai

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, providing solutions to mitigate delays.
• Prepare recovery program, coordinate with engineering discipline, procurement etc. and provide recommendations to limit impact on project timelines.
• Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate and coordinate schedules across all project phases.
• Lead planning and coordination meetings, communicate with stakeholders and ensuring schedule alignment among all project stakeholders
• Track and update project milestones, key deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability across all teams.
• Prepare progress reports, including critical path analysis, earned value analysis, and forecast updates.
• Conduct project schedule risk analysis
• Ensure compliance with planning and scheduling standards and guidelines, tailoring them to project-specific requirements.
• Manage schedules effectively by utilizing planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to and provide accurate data based forecasts.
• Provide support for project change management process by evaluating the impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.

Skills:

• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project
• Good knowledge of different design phases, construction phases, authority submission requirements
