● Project: Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up & Stabilization, Operation and Maintenance of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals ● Client: Dangote Group ● Work Details-NHT (Naphtha Hydro Treatment and CCR (Continuous Catalyst Regeneration Process Unit and Production of Gasoline, Natural Gas and Jet fuel and Plant Operation & Maintenance activity ● Regular inspection of PTW with supporting documents like Method statement, Isolation certificates, SOP and JSA ● Inspect the Hazardous chemicals and ensure Material Safety Data Sheets, Designated Chemical Storage area as per COSSH ● Regular meeting with Operation and Mechanical Maintenance team members and discuss the HSE related issues ● Conduct periodical audit of LOTO and PTW and findings submit to HSE Dept ● Ensure Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according to the HSE procedure ● Attend daily basis meeting with Operation team and discuss with safety issues ● Conduct different type of in house and onsite safety awareness Training ● Prepare daily basis safety inspection checklist and submit to HSE department ● Ensuring first aid and welfare facility monitoring daily inspection for scaffolding, confined space, work at height ● Identifying unsafe act or condition and report to HSE manager ● Conduct daily Safety audits and improve the site safety management system ● Participate in Pre Startup Safety Review and assist in developing Hazops and Hazids. ● Inspecting the site & preparing daily check list ● Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. ● Participate in various process safety studies/activities such as PHA, PSSR, HAZOPs, SIMOPS and JSA ● Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices ● Monitor risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced ● Regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are implemented ● Outlining safe operational procedures which identify & take account of all hazards ● Make changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislations ● Monitor critical activities like mobile crane lifting, Hot work, Confined space ● Leading in-house training for health & safety issues and risks ● Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports for improvements ● Perform work permit reviews, behaviour-based safety inspections, job site safety compliance inspections, including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepare written reports and recommendations. ● Advise the project workforce with all HSE matters and organize training, inductions and toolbox meeting ● Assists in developing HSE Policies and Procedures ● Ensure incident free operation of Unit ● Develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses.
