• Conducted thorough safety inspections and audits, ensuring all welding and piping activities met stringent nuclear industry safety standards and regulatory requirements. • Inspected and verified the quality of welds, piping installations, and materials, ensuring compliance with nuclear plant specifications, codes, and industry standards. • Monitored piping/welding job at fabrication and at field area. • Controlled piping materials per specification such as color coding, material class, sizes per isometric drawing prior fit up. • Verified if welders and pipe fitters are fully qualified and follow standard specification per client requirement. • Monitored piping installation, visual inspection and check all standard specification per client requirement. • Controlled welding procedure per (WPS) Welding Procedure Specification such as welding rod, filler wire, (size and qualification), main dry oven pre-heating and welding machine operation should be calibrated per specification. • Checked and cleared all documents related in specification job for transmittal. • Updated all revised isometric drawing for line modification and changed orientation. • Line checking and preparation of all documents needed in the system prior for the hydro and pneumatic testing. • Witnessed the Welding Qualification Test (WQT) together with Construction Main Contractor (CMC) with spot witnessed by the client QA/QC Inspector • Coordinated with client’s inspector and witnessed hydro testing or pneumatic testing as per holding point and time. • Coordinates with Piping Field Engineer(s) for any concerns of piping construction drawing in the test pack. Updating the piping construction drawing as per site condition (As Built) • Coordinated with Piping Supervisor for any piping construction issue. Prepares piping construction concerns and reports to Test Pack Controller and Area Lead Piping Supervisor. • Coordinates with other disciplines such as Structure, Equipment, Instrument, Pre-Commissioning and QC. • Preparation of piping drawing(s) concerns and reporting to piping field engineers. • Implement ITP • Inspecting welding for the installation supports such as I beam, H beam, angle bars. Inspecting bolted joints. Inspection for welding both butt weld and socket weld. • Checking material that insuring it is high quality and conforms to the code of specification by ASME, ANSI.
