Payroll Specialist
Job Description
About the Job:
We are looking for a ‘Payroll Executive‘ in our HR Team who will be responsible for end-to-end payroll process management.
Role And Responsibilities:
- Manage end–to–end payroll processing of overall 1500+ employees (Full time and Contract employees)
- Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursal of salaries to employees
- Manage the company payroll vendor and ensure compliance and accuracy in monthly payroll Activities
- Collaborate with payroll vendor to ensure validation of PF/ESIC/PT/LWF/Income TAX calculation.
- Ensure accurate and timely sending of payroll input to Payroll Service Provider and our Finance Team
- Processing Full and Final settlements including Leave encashment, LTA, Gratuity, Bonus, Maternity leave and other statutory benefits.
- Ensuring payment of statutory dues including TDS, Provident Fund, ESIC, Professional Tax, Mediclaim, Insurance, Gratuity etc.
- Preparing reconciliation statement month on month.
- Handling the Attendance & Leave Management systems to ensure accurate payroll inputs.
- Will be responsible for Incentive processing of employees.
- Manage investment Declarations and proofs submission of employees.
- Resolve employee queries/issues in payroll and manage employee grievances
- Ensuring proper MIS and auditable documents are kept
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- 2 – 6 years of experience in managing payroll process
- Should be an expert in Microsoft Excel. Should know macros, vlookup and other advanced excel formulas
- Should have very strong numerical and analytical abilities. Needs to be strong in numerical and mathematical skills
- Should have good ‘Communication Skills’ both spoken and written
- Should have good knowledge of compensation practices in the industry and government polices
