QA/Test Engineer

Job Description

The QA/Test Engineer ensures that software applications and digital solutions meet functional, performance, security, and quality requirements. The role develops and executes test plans covering new features, integrations, and regression scenarios. The engineer works closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to identify and resolve defects. The position contributes to improving test automation, release quality, and overall software reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and acceptance testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
Execute automated and manual testing activities.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks where required.
Validate APIs, databases, user interfaces, and system integrations.
Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint testing activities.
Prepare test reports and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality standards.
