Job Description

Introduction:

Shades Interiors is looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring projects meet our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency

Purpose: To coordinate the daily construction activities at site with the objective of ensuring all the activities comply with project quality plan, specifications and site program.

Reporting Relationship:.

Direct Reporting:

• Site Engineer

Indirect Reporting:

• Site Supervisor

• General Foreman

• Foreman

• Charge hand

Budgetary Responsibility:

• Budgeted labour hours

• Material consumption/wastage

Responsibilities:

• To plan the activities in order to effectively use resources to meet construction program.

• To implement the quality system and perform regular site visits in order to ensure that activities meet the project quality requirements.

• To coordinate with subcontractors on site in order to ensure that the subcontractors’ activities are completed on time and in accordance with project requirements.

• To monitor materials, equipment and manpower on site in order to ensure that the appropriate material is available to meet the construction program.

• To implement project safety plan and coordinate with the safety department to ensure the safety measures are taken into consideration throughout the production cycle.

• To implement HLG environment policies and monitor production activities in order to ensure that dust, noise, silt and rubbish flow etc do not affect the surrounding environment.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Civil engineering.

Years of experience:

• More than 4 Years
• UAE Experience is must

Kind of Experience:

• Experience in large scale construction & high-rise buildings with exposure to substructure works, superstructure works and finishing works.

Critical Skills:

• Technical Skills

• Technical notes writing

• Report writing

• Microsoft Office
