SCADA & Automation Technician

Job Description

The SCADA & Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing SCADA systems and automation equipment across renewable energy facilities. The role ensures reliable monitoring, communication, and control of plant operations while minimizing system downtime. The technician supports preventive maintenance, software updates, and equipment calibration. Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, networking, and SCADA platforms is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA and automation systems.
Configure PLCs, RTUs, and communication devices.
Monitor plant control systems for operational reliability.
Perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment.
Diagnose and resolve system communication failures.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records.
Coordinate with engineering teams during system upgrades.
Ensure cybersecurity and operational compliance of automation systems.
