Qatar Steel is a major integrated steel manufacturer in Qatar and was the first integrated steel plant in the Arabian Gulf. The company was established in 1974, with commercial production beginning in 1978. It produces steel products including DRI/HBI, billets, rebar and wire rod, serving construction and industrial markets in Qatar and internationally.
